Yumbox Original - Trays & Shells

I love the clear trays best because no matter who I’m packing lunch for (toddler, kiddo, us) it works. If the snack containers had clear tray options we’d buy those too.

Perfect for our creative lunches! Depth and width of each section is great. Gives our kids lots of options about what they want to eat. Love that everything is sealed so each section doesn’t leak or mix with any other section no matter how much the lunchbox gets tossed around before lunch.

We love each YumBox we have bought! I buy these for all of my friends as a birthday present for their kids and always hear years later how they’ve continued to enjoy them! We love the colors abs cute designs as well as how functional they are!

Easy to clean, I put mine in the dishwasher. Perfect portion size for lunch since I've had bariatric surgery. It helps me get all the food groups.

Fits perfectly as a replacement for our last tray that sadly cracked after being dropped. Wish there were more design options, but my child hasn’t complained so feels like a win regardless.

We have two of these for each of our 3 kids so we always have one ready for packing lunches-they are hands down our favorite lunchboxes. Love how easy it is for our kids to help pack their own lunch and the fun colors are a bonus.

I've tried a handful of lunch boxes for my kids, but the Yumbox Blue Bento stands out as an absolute favorite — both for them and for me. It strikes the perfect balance between functionality, durability, and design. The latch is easy enough for a child to open on their own, but secure enough to keep the contents safe in a backpack. My 6-year-old uses it daily without any trouble. It's also light enough to carry without adding bulk.

The insert is a great tool to remind you to hit all the food groups. I love that you can add liners to compartments to divide them to increase the variety of food.

Hi! I am the biggest fan of yumbox. Have purchased 6 or so over the years. Love every aspect of them except the silicone glued part that gets moldy after a year or so, or two years. I'm fine with this, I can buy a new replacement since everything else lasts a long time. just wish they would figure this out. Might try their new stainless one, seems like that silicone is not glued. And we handwashed all of them and always left them open to dry.

This is perfect for my preschooler who wants all of her school food separated! She loves it!

Quick review, this box has enough volume for kids lunch. My kid loves space so this design is really nice to him. I wonder how’s the capability of leakproof after a while.

The first one lasted us almost five years of daily use before deciding to upgrade. Perfect size for smaller kiddos.

If I could rate this more than 5 stars I would. Seriously amazing buy. For starters I had purchased a bento box from target (not yumbox) and it was heavy, chunky, the lid did not stay up on its own, it leaked, and the worst part of it all? It became moldy in the rubber part of the lid. GROSS! I had to replace it twice for both my children before I discovered yumbox. I also didn’t realize how big the compartments for the food were in the target brand and I was providing too much food to my kids. With yumbox the difference is noticeable. The box are thinner which means I have more room in their lunch bag for snacks and juice. The lid also stays open at any angle which doesn’t cause the box to tip. The portion sizes are also just right. It’s large enough to give them a little of each item and small enough for them to mentally tackle. I also love the fact that the food container is labeled with “grains, protein, veggies, fruit and dairy”. It makes it easy for me to pack their lunch when I run out of ideas because all I have to do is add the food item of the food group without having to remember all the time. It makes my mornings easier and take a lot of the mental load off of meal prepping. My kids enjoy how fun and colorful their boxes are. I will absolutely keep buying this product as they continue to grow and I recommend it to all my mom friends!

I recently purchased a Yumbox to replace a Yumbox that broke. It’s November 2024 and the box that just broke was purchased in February 2016. It was used on a daily basis for lunches at school for the entire time we had it. Super durable!!! Can’t beat the value with anything else out on the market. Spent $30 and it lasted for 8 years!!! Also, it’s awesome to see that after 8 years, the price is the same.
