We first started using yumbox around 9 years ago. We still love them for all of our kids and our first box we ever got is still in great shape. We have used it multiple times a week since our kids have been in school. Highly recommend!! It’s also very convenient to sort their lunches in the containers.

these lunchboxes from Yumbox are our favorite! just the right size, not as heavy as other brand lunch boxes, totally leakproof, easy to clean, and you can get a replacement for the inside tray without buying a new box (like when my child left this in school over a long weekend)

I almost never write online reviews, but Yumbox has earned one, because we bought a few lunchboxes when my oldest kid entered pre-K. That child is now in 6th grade, and we are using the exact same lunchboxes (supplemented by the few more we bought when our second started school). We are not at all easy on our lunchboxes - we pack lunch every day, often overstuff the compartments and strain the hinges, and never ever hand wash. Boxes have been thrown in bags, dropped on the floor a million times, accidentally forgotten in a backpack over the weekend, accidentally heat dried in the dishwasher... and they are STILL great. Exactly one box shell has broken in seven years... because it was stepped on. While Yumbox is certainly not the cheapest bento around, cost per use is pennies at most. Cannot recommend highly enough.

Perfect. Excellent quality.

It has so far been good. Easy to open for 5 year old. Easy to clean as long as it is scrubbed day of use. It feels solid. I like that I can buy extra inner tray to switch out.

My grandson loves bringing his dinosaur lunchbox and snack bag to school! Food stays fresh throughout the day.

Great size, cute design and colour, easy for my 3.75 yr old daughter to open and she loves it! Hopefully it causes to her to eat all of her lunch daily.

I purchased 4 yumboxes in 2 different sizes, 3 from this site and 1 from Amazon. Perfect for my kids, leakproof and held the right amount of food for the elementary school kids age group.
They were easy to clean and didn’t hold on to any food smells after soaking in bicarbonate and water mixture. Will purchase one for me later and will repurchase them for the kids when needed.

The product is fabulous but it would be good to know at the time of purchase when you will receive the product.

My daughter loves this tray insert & we paired it with the Miami aqua exterior shell. Perfect for sandwich & sides for summer camp lunches. Yay for Yumbox!

We bought our first yumbox over 6 years ago and still use it. Recently, I bought a new one and multiple inserts (little sister wanted her own). One of the inserts broke the first time we used it, and their customer service was prompt to respond and offered to replace the item. I knew the broken insert was a fluke because we had used our original one SO MUCH and under SO MANY different circumstances and it has stood the test of time. I stand by the quality of the product and the company.
