Awesome lunch box for toddlers

We got this lunch box for our 18 month old for daycare. I wanted something that was not plastic, good quality, could grow with her, and would be easy for her to use. This checks many of those boxes. The lunchbox is easy to clean (I use the dishwasher top rack), easy to open for little hands, keeps liquids from flowing into other compartments, and feels good quality. It's also a good size - fits in her standard lunch bag, and the compartments will fit enough food for years to come. The only downside is it's not insulating so for a child who likes warm food, it may be a problem. I got around this by making her a fitted bento sleeve to hopefully keep her food warmer than a regular lunch bag.

Best bento box yet

I haven’t tried any bento boxes that are stainless steel besides this one, but I have tried a few plastic bentos from various companies such as Bentgo. I think Yumbox is way better for these reasons: the latch is easier for kids to open and close, there’s a better seal overall which doesn’t leak esp condiments like dressing or humus, and the container itself is stainless steel not plastic. I do like the option to purchase little silicone dividers if you want to make even more little compartments for food. I’ve done the switch and am very happy I did, YUMBOX for the win!!!

Perfect for kid lunch
